Your morning news briefing.

Small but Mighty.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MIGHTY MEMO SUBSCRIBERS (SEPTEMBER 2026)

Dear Mighty Memo subscribers,

When we started the Mighty Memo two years ago, we knew that we were taking a risk. Publishing an impartial news briefing was different to what all the other opinionated media outlets were doing. We thought that what we offered was a breath of fresh air. Many of our subscribers seemed to agree.

In August 2026, we decided that we would charge subscribers a small fee to grow the Mighty Memo further. As you will know, the Mighty Memo had been free of charge for two years since we started in 2024.

Unfortunately, this decision to become a paid-for publication has not paid off. Although many subscribers enjoyed the Mighty Memo while it was free of charge, very few decided to take out a subscription.

It has proved impossible for us to continue as a viable business. With enormous sadness, we have decided to end the Mighty Memo.

We have put everything into the Mighty Memo over the last two years, with many, many late nights and early mornings and enormous personal sacrifices from the Mighty Memo team.

Running a media business in an age of AI and sensationalist news was always going to be tough. Although some people recognised the value of the Mighty Memo, too few were willing to pay for it.

Thank you to all those who put their faith in us over these past two years.

Best wishes,

The Mighty Memo team
